Neil Varnell, owner of Bluff Top, has created his interpretation of an English cottage garden. Mixed plantings of perennials and annuals fill beds along the front and surrounding perimeter of his picturesque Victorian house. A petite water lily pond, a sunken garden, and a smattering of rose bushes delight the senses. Walk the path along the bluff to nearby Riverside and enjoy scenic views of the Mississippi River flowing 200-feet below. Owner Durrell Eperson recreated a New Orleans style courtyard, with ornate iron railings and ornamentation, a lovely patio and brick beds containing roses and companion plantings.
